Welcome to the SUNY Cortland NYPIRG chapter! We’re the state’s largest nonpartisan student directed organization working to build student leadership through work on campaigns in higher education, consumer protection, environmental preservation and social justice.

By getting involved with our chapter you can gain hands-on experience in a real political setting. The work you’ll do to organize coalitions and events, gain media attention, lobby legislators, and speak in public will allow you to become a better advocate for your own causes and will affect New Yorkers for years to come.
