French Hills

French Hills is an18-hole golf course, on French Hill in Yorktown, just one mile from the Croton Reservoir. In addition to pesticide use, destruction of wetlands and trees and an inadequate stormwater pollution prevention plan, the project proposes to take water from Mohansic Lake, a NY State Park. NYPIRG has attended and spoken at the public hearings and expressed its concern for the adverse environmental impacts this project poses.
