banking account protections. NYPIRG has released several
guides on consumer banking and has fought increased ATM
surcharges and other bank fees. NYPIRG's Auto Insurance Guide
has helped drivers lower their insurance rates. Our Toy Safety and Playground
Safety Surveys have given parents the information they need
to protect their children. NYPIRG’s Fuel
Buyers Group saves consumers hundreds of dollars anually on
the price of home heating oil, and is beginning to offer discounts on
natural gas and wind power.
NYPIRG trains students to counsel New Yorkers who are involved in small
