HAVA: State Legislative Advocacy

Legislative Advocacy. The state legislature has the ultimate authority to implement HAVA’s provisions. With the Task Force process now complete, Coalition activity is increasingly focused in this area and has included numerous lobby visits to members of the State Legislature, working with Legislative staff on drafting HAVA legislation and public advocacy efforts.
